I have recently started to look at trees more closely. A few years ago, I moved again next to the Dębina reserve on Leśna Street and, while tidying up the garden, I cut a branch off one of the oak trees growing there. The cut branch healed and overgrew and the tree grew. Working in blocks of marble, I would like to reflect this natural tendency to grow. The limiting format of the stone block reminds me of this severed branch.
